Check in must be done as a troop prior to entering the park. Girls/troops are encouraged to attend and must follow girl/adult ratio. Please limit the number of adult attendees to allow for maximum participation by girls.  \nAttendance 5\,000 Girl Scouts \n\nA few reminders from the Council Office: \n\nArrival time is 5:30 pm.\nIf registered ahead of time\, you will be given wristbands and patches for registered number of girls at registration. SeaWorld requires everyone to have a wristband to enter park. Please attach wristbands immediately upon receiving.\nThe event will end at 7:45 pm and we’ll be walking back to the pavilion area. Please make arrangements with your drivers.\nTroop Leaders must have all standard Parental –Guardian release forms signed and in their possession for girls under their supervision.\nGirls are encouraged to wear their Girl Scout vest – sashes or pins and comfortable shoes.\nPlease be sure girls and you have discussed and developed a plan to meet after the event. This includes\, but is not limited to: water\, cigarettes\, weapons\, flames\, fireworks\, silly string\, and any other substance that can be fired\, launched\, or dripped. \nJ-Low COSTUME COMPETITION\nContest will be “Runway” style. There will be no pre-judging.\nIn addition to the above\, Costumes must be at least 50% homemade.\nCostumes must be PG-13 or less meaning nothing overly scary and nothing revealing.\nCostumes must come from an established cartoon\, comic book\, anime\, video game\, manga\, novel\, or movie. \n\nNo bad behavior. DESCRIPTION:The Citrus Singers Girl Scouts Chorus of Brevard is now adding members to the group for their fall and holiday shows. This is a great opportunity to perform around the Central Florida area for community\, sporting\, and scouting events! \nWho can apply? \nAny Girl Scout 3rd grade BROWNIE or ABOVE who can sing in pitch and has an enthusiasm to perform. \nHow to Audition: \nHave the singer prepare two songs: pop\, holiday or musical theatre selections\, each about 1-2 minutes long (such as a verse and a chorus\, or the last half of the song\, etc…). Pick any songs that can be sung with confidence\, preferably memorized.  They must use a karaoke/back up music track that does not have the lead vocal on it. You can search YouTube for different variations \nUpload the recording to youtube or another video sharing site. Keep the video ‘public’. Email the video link to: Diana Carey at gstroop659@gmail.com. You will get a response within 24 hours. \n \nWhat to expect: \nChorus rehearses 3-4x per month in October and November\, usually on Saturday or Sunday late afternoon such as 4p– 6:00p (TBD). Girls sing as a group with microphones some will have the opportunity for solo parts. Some girls may sing harmonies and there may be some light movement. \nThe singer must sing in pitch and should have an interest in performing. They can be new\, but should be enthusiastic about participating. \nNovember & December we will perform holiday songs at a number of East Coast Florida venues and at the Orlando Citrus Bowl on December 16\, 2017 \n
