Calling all Citrus Council Girl Scouts and members! Have you ever helped accomplish a world record? Well, now is your chance! Girl Scouts is excited to celebrate National S’mores Day by helping Wondermade set a world record for the most people making a S’mores together!
On August 10th, Wondermade is hosting a street party on 1st Street in downtown Sanford to celebrate National S’mores Day that will include kids’ crafts, live music, food, and, of course, free s’mores at 7 for everyone there to help set the record.
Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity to be part of a record-breaking event! Girl Scouts will have their own check-in and will be directed to a specific area for the record breaking moment so that we can share in the excitement together! We’ll also have a special announcement about new Wondermade Girl Scout programs and other exciting news to share! And Citrus Council CEO Maryann Barry will be there taking as many S’mores selfies as she can!
Also! We will have a special Girl Scout team participating in a competition to see who can build the tallest s’mores! Think you’ve got what it takes to help us win? Tagalongs, friends and family members are welcome to attend, but everyone that would like to part of our official Citrus Council group must register in advance. This event is open to the public for free, but by registering through Citrus Council, you reserve your spot and receive a fun patch for your participation in this event and a surprise keepsake!
Girl Scouts are encouraged to wear their vests or sashes. All Girl Scouts must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
