Turtle Academy

Calling all Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts! Come and spend time exploring the Barrier Island Center while participating in a hands on educational experience. Girls will learn about Sea Turtles and their natural habitats walk the beach looking for eggs, trails and more! If you are lucky, you may even see a real turtle! All adults and girls must register for the program. Please no tagalongs as space is limited. Everyone must have on closed toe shoes and bring a water bottle. Please bring a bag lunch as there will be a break halfway through the program. Turtle Academy patches are available for purchase through Girl Scouts of Citrus Council Shop for $1.50 each.
